Alumni Night

The 7th Annual HR Alumni Night occurred on October 11, 2011 at the Ted Rogers School of Management. At this event, students, alumni, faculty, and industry professionals got the chance to network and listen to a special speaker session.

Our theme for the year was, “Opening Minds, Opening Doors: Career Development Strategies in a Staggering Economy”.

This year our featured speaker was Diana Chan, who is the only Sales Recruiter situated in Canada at Google. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario – Richard Ivey School of Business with an Honour’s Bachelor of Arts and Master’s of Business Administration. Diana is also an entrepreneur specializing in authentic career coaching, motivational speaking and personal development training. She helps people become more marketable and confident in promoting their unique personal brand. She does this by being curious in asking powerful questions to help clients discover who they are and what they want. Having screened thousands of resumes and conducted hundreds of interviews, she knows what it takes to stand out from the crowd in this competitive market.

We had over 100 guests attend the event and was a tremendous success. We hope to see you next year!
