HRSA at Ryerson - 2009/2010
Thank you
for your interest in the Human Resource Student Association. The HRSA
was formed 10 years ago with the goal of uniting and providing
opportunities for HR majors and minors.
Today the HRSA represents over 400 HR majors and minors. As a student
association we strive to facilitate the knowledge of HR among students,
faculty, and industry leaders. Throughout the year we host a variety of
events for our students. Amongst our most successful events are; the
Organizational Behaviour Case Competition, in which students from all
over southern Ontario compete, and the HR Professionals Evening, which
provided the chance to over 7 HR associations to network with students.
The association also heads initiatives that focus on responsible
citizenship, we collect pop can tabs for wheelchairs and hold several
fundraisers for various charities. This year we raised over $200 for a
family in need.
The HR students at Ryerson are unique as their education provides them
with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The
opportunities provided by the HRSA enhance the education of tomorrow HR
leaders.
We invite you to become either a member or supporter of the HRSA. This
investment will surly be contribution towards tomorrow HR leaders. We
encourage support and participation from all Ryerson students!

HRSA members can obtain the title of “HRSA
Volunteer” by signing up to be
apart of any of the external event committees. Volunteers have
the opportunity to receive an official certificate recognizing their
contributions at our HR Social in front of many HR
professionals!
